The Small and Medium – sized Enterprise (SME) “PolyGene AG” is interested in getting involved in consortia for Horizon 2020 health, demographic change and wellbeing

“Polygene” is a transgenic service providing SME, based in Switzerland that is looking for consortia participating in the following topics within the Work Programme 2014-2015 health, demographic change and wellbeing and might want to involve an SME partner in their projects:

• PHC 1 – 2014: Understanding health, ageing and disease: determinants, risk factors and pathways

• PHC 2 – 2015: Understanding diseases: systems medicine

• PHC 3 – 2015: Understanding common mechanisms of diseases and their relevance in co-morbidities

• PHC 11 – 2015: Development of new diagnostic tools and technologies: in vivo medical imaging technologies

• PHC 14 -2015: New therapies for rare diseases

The SMEs expertise lies in the generation of genetically modified animals, e.g. for target validation studies. R&D endeavours include improvement of sequence nuclease based genome engineering technologies and the improvement of currently available inducible expression systems for in-vivo studies.
