Workshop Invitation:

“From Advanced Materials Research to Innovation and Growth”

The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission is organising a workshop: From Advanced Materials Research to Innovation and Growth.

The Workshop will take place in Brussels on 22nd March 2017 from 10.00h until 15.00h –
Covent Garden Building, room 183/5, Place Rogier 16, B-1210 Brussels

The workshop will bring together venture capital and private equity investment specialists and research policy makers and is intended to provide an inside in technology-driven investment strategies and future market opportunities for value-added and value-adding materials and to set out the various technical and economic scenarios linked to their potential development and use. There will be time for networking and discussion of current objectives and strategies, as for giving recommendations for possible future research policies in this area.
The European Commission published in this respect a while ago a study which will be a basis for the workshop.
