1.BBI2020.SO4.S3 — CREATE AND INTERLINK BIO-BASED EDUCATION CENTRES TO MEET INDUSTRY’S NEEDS OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

Oferta:

• Research what skills and skillsets are missing;
• Research what are the best academic channels to reach out to students and offer advice on career prospects;
• Support the development of operational processes and budgeting for the new education centers;
• Create and assure sustainability;
• Run roundtables with industry and policymakers to feed information into policy and decision making;

2. BBI-2020-SO4-S4 – EXPAND CIRCULAR ECONOMY TO INCLUDE THE UNDEREXPLOITED CIRCULAR BIOECONOMY

Oferta:

• Research how EU waste directives and regulations/policies on the circular economy are implemented on a Member State level;
• Identify successful national/regional regulations as best practices;
• Research how the industry is already adapting to the regulations by involving industry sectors as well as large and small companies;
• Inform policymakers and stakeholders from different areas about non-technological hurdles, new regulation and on opportunities for supporting EU goals;
