PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Utility Providers, DSOs and especially new market entrants, including ESCOs and aggregators must be capable of manage high-volume data and advanced analytics designed to transform data into actionable insights.
Moreover, the combination of electricity, gas and heating, has open up a wide variety of demand response actions that can benefit to the end-users and give revenue to retail markets and distributed renewable energy generation and storage.
Proposal Outline:
The PANORAMA project will develop and validate an ICT Platform integrating algorithms for big data analytics to support Advance and fast demaNd respOnd seRvices for the optimisation, control and Active MAnagement of the electricity-gas-heating grid and, next generation distributed renewable energy sources, in cities and countryside of two different European countries.
The PANORAMA platform will provide the necessary parameters for the generation and further operation of new business models with particular attention to ESCOs, aggregators, microgrid managers and Utility Providers. These business models will contribute at a global level to efficiently manage and distribute the energy produced and consumed at a local level (city).

Description of work to be carried out by the partner(s) sought:
Prodile 1: Montioring of the Energy Grid (mainly focused in the medium and low voltage electricity grid), consumptions and distributed productions in real-time.
Prodile 2: Validation and Evaluation of the solution in the city pilots, offer soultions of aggregated demand and supply (including prosumers) and develop the case-studies of the pilots.
Prodile 3: Manage the grid distribution and end-users exerience
