PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The STAR2UP proposal has the objective to develop and validate a web platform providing services for web entrepreneurs.

The web is undergoing a process of consolidation between the big digitals such as Google, Apple, Amazon and Facebook, which are concentrating increasing revenues, applications and users, thereby leading to a self-reinforcing process from which EU companies are largely excluded and will increasingly be so in the future in the absence of new EU actions.

An EU initiative is particularly urgent because , there is not a “grass roots” EU wide platform (virtual of physical) aiming at reaching entrepreneurs in early stage of business development. Networking and/or inner circles are mainly around firms or technology fields.

The proposal aims at creating a virtual/phisycal environment that can support fast growing of web tech startups and also developing an EU wide network of web tech entrepreneurs.

We already have a good consortium supporting this initiative and we are looking for:

to be involved in project validation.
