Multiple sclersois (MS) is a chronic disease of young citizens with only partial effective treatments and highly diverse outcomes from the very beginning.
Self-management is needed in the area of medical decision making especially through understanding prognosis and effects of treatments.
Self-management is needed in understanding and co-deciding when to perform brain imaging with MRI.
Self-management is necessary on motherhood choice.
Self-managament is needed in handling neurospsychiatric symptoms.

Proposal Outline:
We will develop a smartphone-applicable platform for patient information and self-management.
Four major modules will be addressed:
1. guiding decision making on immunotherapies including individual prognosis counseling as well as education on brain imaging.
2. guiding decisions on motherhood.
3. further develop web-based cognitive behavioural therapy for handling, fatigue, depression and coping of the disease.
4. developement of and accelerometry-connected activity enhancing programme.
